Andy Theron

Andy is the Managing Director and Founder of Finteq(pty)Ltd. He started in the IT industry over 20 years ago as a programmer for Standard Bank  after completing his computer science studies and then for First national Bank. In 1997 he started a consulting business, and over the years this business evolved and became the current Finteq.

Andy has been involved in clearing systems since 1997. He was involved at an industry level with setting up CLC (Code Line Clearing). He has also been involved at an industry level with setting up Namclear the Namibian clearing house. He has been involved in a number of multi bank cheque processing solutions. Over the past few years his focused on the development of payment processing and clearing solutions.
