Bjorn Soderberg, a researcher from Sweden, has recently published a comprehensive report on mobile banking in Africa, “Mobile banking - Financial services for the unbanked?”
Bjorn Soderberg has spent the last decade with consulting on:
* Telecoms and Information and Communication Technologies, primarily in EUI and developing and emerging countries;
* Business, market and Private Secror Development (PSD) projects in EU and in developing / emerging countries;
* Market expansion and trading projects;
* Implementation of donor aid programmes / business development schemes;
* Research and white paper productions on behalf of the World Bank, International Finance Corporation and the EU on the above.
Prior to this, Bjorn has been working as a project leader for numerous international projects. Before that, he was a consultant doing work for the Swedish Defense (WM-data), he was posted at the Swedish embassy in Washington DC (The Swedish Technical Attaché System), and he was a co-founder of consulting firm Spintrack. Bjorn has a technical as well as business administration background from Mälardalens University in Sweden.
