·         Various profissional training in ITC technology in infraestrutura (minicomputers, PCs, UPS), system software (Unix, Windows environment), programming languages (C, C++, Java), database management systems (Informix, Oracle, mySQL), multilayer architectures based on J2EE – during the 80s and  90s ;

Professional Experience

 

Participated in the IT industry during the last 24 years, in various projects and initiatives of the government and private sector.

 

His experience covered, over the years, the conception, design, construction, operation and exploitation of ITS in the domains of ITC infrastructure, Information system solutions and development of applications, Strategic Planning of Information Systems and Strategic and Operational Management of Enterprises and Project Management.

 

His current focus of interest is the formulation of enterprise general and operational strategies,  aimed at improving the business performance and covering the following aspects:

·         Strategic positioning,

·         Conception, design and implementation of operations/services strategy,

·         Improvement of business performance and business transformation,

·         IT Governance and strategic planning of IS/IT,

·         Management of enterprise architectures,

·         Business Process Management,

·         Strategic Management of Human Resources.

 

During the lat 5 years it dedicated a good part of his working time assisting the top management of UTRAFE under the e-SISTAFE project (government of Mozambique financial management system reform project).

 

All his experience was developed as an employee at EXI, a company created by himself and has managed up to today.  EXI has played a major role in the conception and implementation of various information systems of the Government and Provate Sector.
